What to Expect...
When you book a massage at Luminary: The Salon, you'll park in the Romeo's Foodland Magill carpark. The Google location can be slightly confusing - we're behind Bakehouse on Magill at the back left corner of the complex!
The salon is a beautiful, welcoming space. You'll be greeted in the waiting area by either myself or one of the salon staff and I will bring you through to my office at your appointment time.
Note that on a Sunday and Monday I am open by appointment but the salon is closed - I will unlock the door to let you in.
I'll ask a few questions to get to know a little about what your day to day looks like, the stress you might be holding, how your body moves and why you're in pain. Feel free to tell me as much or as little as you like, as long as you don't leave out any injuries I need to know about to treat you safely! I welcome feedback throughout the session (and after - reviews are incredibly helpful for small businesses like mine).
If you'd like a silent session (no chatting) let me know at your appointment or message me when you book. Sometimes we just need an hour of peace and quiet before heading back to reality! I won't be offended.
When we're ready to commence the session, I'll leave the room to give you some privacy. You can put your clothes and belongings in the basket provided, (leave underwear on) lay on the table, cover yourself with the towel provided and let me know you're ready. After your massage, I will pour you a glass of water and then leave the room again while you get dressed. Take your time getting up, as some people can feel dizzy or just a bit fuzzy following a massage. Hydration is important!
Payment can be made by EFTPOS or cash at your appointment, or online when you book.

Mobile Massage
Mobile massage isn't much different, except that I come to you!
I'll just need a space big enough to set up my massage table and move around it. If you're not sure about space, I'm more than happy to help move a table or couch if need be, so don't stress, especially if you're already in pain!
Just like when you book at the office, I'll leave the room to give you some privacy while you get ready. Please leave your underwear on, cover yourself with the towel provided and let me know when you're ready.

Mobile massage can be a great option for anyone who experiences fatigue or sensory sensitivity in public spaces, parents with kids at home or just those of us who hate going back out into the real world and driving home after a massage.
Please feel free to dress for comfort - pyjamas, Oodie, trackpants, something low effort. Massage should leave you feeling well rested and comfortable.
